VOIP - Features

Alternate Caller ID Number

You can switch which caller ID number is sent out between your primary and virtual numbers. (Note: This feature is only available to those who do NOT have Toll-Free virtual numbers.)

Anonymous call rejection


Allows you to reject calls from anyone that has blocked their name or number. The caller will automatically be sent to a recording informing them you do not wish to receive blocked calls.

To do this by phone, press *80 then wait a few seconds for confirmation. To deactivate, press *81 and wait for confirmation.

You can schedule, enable and disable this feature via your VoIP account management site online.

Blacklist

Allows you to block calls from phone numbers you specify. Blacklisted callers will receive an automated message informing them their number has been blocked. Your phone will not ring when they call.

To activate this by phone, press *98 and follow the voice prompts. Please wait for the voice prompt to end prior to entering your response. To de-activate, press * 99 and follow the voice prompts. Please wait for the voice prompt to end prior to entering your response.

You can add or remove numbers via your VoIP account management site online.

Call Filter

Automatically redirect specified callers to a different phone number. For example, while on vacation, you can specify which incoming calls you want transferred to your cell phone

To activate this online, press *96 and follow the voice prompts. To de-activate, press * 97 and follow the voice prompts.

Call Forwarding

Allows you to forward incoming calls to any telephone number within the United States (all 50 States) and Canada.

To activate this by phone, press * 72 and follow the voice prompts. To de-activate, press * 73 and wait for confirmation.

You can schedule, enable and disable this feature via your VoIP account management site online.

Call Return

Allows you to call back the last number you received

Press *69

Call Waiting

Allows you to hear a tone that indicates you have a second call coming in on your line.

This feature has been pre-programmed into your Service.

To answer the second call:

1. Press the Flash button. This puts the first caller on hold and connects you to the second caller

2. To return to the first caller, press the flash button again.

Call ID

Allows you to see the phone number of the person that is calling you.

This feature has been pre-programmed into your Service.

Call Blocking

Allows you to block your number from appearing on the Caller ID box of the person you called.

To activate by phone, press *67 and wait for the beep. Hang up and then dial the 11-digit phone number you wish to call. To de-activate, press *68 and wait for the beep.

You can also enable and disable this feature via your VoIP account management site online.

Do Not Disturb

Automatically sends calls to your Voicemail without your phone ever ringing.

To activate by phone, press *78 and wait for confirmation: "Do Not Disturb has been activated." To de-activate, press *79 and wait for confirmation: "Do Not Disturb has been de-activated."

You can also schedule, enable and disable this feature via your VoIP account management site.

Find Me Follow Me

Allows you to forward incoming calls to up to 3 telephone numbers within the United States (all 50 States) and Canada. Find Me Follow Me will try to dial each of the numbers in a specified order.

International Call Blocking

Block all outgoing calls to international destinations.

To activate this by phone, press *82 and wait for confirmation. To de-activate, press *83 from the original phone and wait for confirmation.

Music on Hold

Plays music while you have a caller on hold.

To activate, press the hold button on your phone

Repeat Dial

Redials the last number you called.

To activate, press the redial button on your phone

Short-Digit dialing

Allows you to dial calls in your area without having to dial all the numbers. Any numbers you do not dial will be automatically 'filled in' using your Primary Number.

This feature can only be activated and deactivated online.

Speed Dialing

Automatically pre-programs up to 10 frequently called numbers into your system for easy dialing.

To activate by phone, press *74 and follow the voice prompts. Speed Dial numbers are 0-9. To de-program a number, press *75 and follow the voice prompts. To Speed Dial, press ** and the Speed Dial Number.

You can also add/ remove numbers via your VoIP account management site.

Three-Way Calling

Allows you to have a conference call with two parties simultaneously. (This feature is only available with the Sipura SPA-2100 or SPA-1001.)

This feature has been pre-programmed into your Service.

1. Dial your first party.

2. Once connected, Press the Flash button. This puts the first caller on hold.

3. Dial your second party.

4. Press the Flash button again to connect both parties.

Voicemail notification via email

Allows you to receive notification of a Voicemail via your personal email. You may choose to attach a .wav file which will allow you to listen to the message on your computer. You may also dial into the Voicemail system to retrieve your messages.

This feature has been pre-programmed into your Service with the Email address you provided at Sign-Up.

You can also manage, enable and disable this feature via your VoIP account management site.

Wake up Call

Allows you to program your VoIP Phone to ring at a preset time.

Schedule this feature online via your VoIP account management site.

Personalized Voicemail

Allows you to personalize a voicemail message and retrieve your messages form any location.

This feature has been pre-programmed into your Service.

To retrieve your message using your WISETALK phone(s), dial 8600#

To retrieve your messages from a remote location:

1. Dial one of the voicemail direct access numbers listed on your myWISETALK.com account
2. Enter your mailbox number (your 10-digit phone number)
3. Enter your password
4. Follow the prompts.

VoIP To Go

Turn any phone, including a cell phone, into a mobile WISETALK phone.

To activate this feature:

  1. Log into your account and register your mobile number under the ‘VoIP-to-Go’ Features section.
  2. On your mobile phone, dial one of the provided access numbers from myaccount.wizetalk.com
  3. Dial the number you wish to call.


You will only be charged minutes by your cell phone provider to call the access number.

WISETALK will never charge you for in plan calls. Out of plan calls will be charged at WISETALK rates.
